Artist is based in: Finland

Raisa Raudas (b. 1997) studies sculpture at Fine arts academy of Helsinki, combining traditional techniques with modern digital working methods. She is interested in the relationship and contrast between the organic and artificial, discussing themes such as pain, healing, power and spirituality in a postsecular age. She has showed her work in various exhibitions such as a group show Breath curated by Leevi Haapala, the dean of Fine arts academy of Helsinki, the recent BA graduate show at Units, and many more. In addition, she has collaborated with dance, performance an teacher groups by doing costume- and stage design. Her work For you safety has been on public display at the Culture house of Helsinki.
