Piret Kullerkupp

Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Piret Kullerkupp’s artistic education began in Norway, at Torhild Ramberg’s Studio in Steinkjer (1998–2000). She holds a BA (2004) and an MA (2011) in Painting from the University of Tartu and has been participating in exhibitions since 2000, having held 14 solo exhibitions to date. Kullerkupp is a member of the Estonian Artists’ Association, the Estonian Painters’ Association, and the Tartu Artists’ Union. She primarily works with oil painting, focusing on themes such as the human inner world, nature, and landscapes. In recent years, her dominant motifs have been water, mountains, and the ever-changing states of nature.
