Pille Tael

Born in Estonia, 1979. Pille Tael graduated in 2001 in Estonian Academy of Arts in the department of interior architecture and furniture design. In 2000 she won the first price in a competition of furniture design of the legislative council. After the graduation in 2002 she founded a company SAS Loft. In 2003-2005 she also worked as an exhibitioner in the Botanic Garden of Tallinn. In 2005 she was a teacher in Estonian Academy of Arts for preparation study of interior arhchitecture and furniture design. In 2006 she started to build a studio for SAS Loft combined with other departments: painting, graphic design, photography, animation and furniture restoration. In 2008 she entered Master’s Programme in animation in Estonian Academy of Arts. In spring 2009 she founded a foundation SA Jaam. The goal for SA Jaam is to restore an old trainstation in Risti, Estonia, built in 1900 and create another similar studio for artists. In 2009 she held an exhibition for Richard Sööt memory.
