In my artistic practice I explore the human experience mainly through the lens of non verbal comunication between strangers. Behaviors and gestures that aim to subconsciously signal intent.

I sculpt scenes that take place in public and often overlooked sights where people are forced to wait together. Buss stops, lines, waitingrooms etc. Places where I find myself moving and changing my behavior to match the expected norm.

Daydreams and dance have taken prominence in my later work. Inspiration has been found in works from the artists like Tino Sehgal and the choreographer Busby Berkeley.

What remains most important is the body and the language it speaks.
