Paul Aadam Mikson is a recent graduate of the Estonian Academy of Arts, holding a BA in Jewelry and Blacksmithing. He was honored with the prestigious Young Applied Artist Award at the 2025 TASE Grad Show, recognized for his poetic yet powerful metalwork characterized by heavy iron bars balanced with a delicate aesthetic . Mikson is also the recipient of the Young Craft Artist Award from the academy—a testament to his emerging talent  .


His art reflects a thoughtful interplay between industrial materials and refined craftsmanship. He has exhibited in collaborative group shows, such as “Synthesis of Landscapes,” exploring spatial materiality alongside peers . Mikson’s practice is rooted in balancing strength with sensitivity—his works embrace the raw power of metal while remaining grounded in compositional harmony and conceptual clarity. As he continues to develop his craft, Paul Aadam Mikson stands out as a promising voice in contemporary metal and craft art.
