Õie Holm

Artist is based in: Estonia

Õie Holm (born in 1992) is an Estonian multidisciplinary artist specializing in sculpture, painting, and graphics. She graduated from the Pallas University of Applied Sciences in 2018 with a degree in sculpture and obtained a Level 5 illustrator qualification in 2022. Holm is a member of the Tartu Artists’ Union.


Her work is characterized by an interest in psychology, nature, surrealism, and the suminagashi technique. 


In March 2024, Holm opened her second solo exhibition, “Masquerade,” at the Pallas Gallery in Tartu. The exhibition featured sculptures, masks, and an authentic death mask, contrasting the bleak moments of life with colorfulness and imagination. The exhibition was part of the Tartu 2024 European Capital of Culture side program “Arts of Survival.”
