Nóra Somos ^{Emerging artist}

Nóra Somos is a Helsinki based visual artist. She is a painter, working mainly with oil colours and drawing with a variety of techniques. She started her fine arts education at the Visual Arts Faculty of the University of Pécs, Hungary, where she studied painting for a year in 2021-22. Somos is currently doing her fourth year of Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the University of the Arts Helsinki, Academy of Fine Arts. Her work has been displayed in group shows in Hungary and in Finland. She has most recently participated in exhibitions in Helsinki, such as her BFA exhibition in Kuva/Tila, 2025, “Painting as Habitat”, Kuva/Tila, 2025, “Between Us”, Kuva/Tila, 2024, and “Hourglass”, Vapaan Taiteen Tila, 2023. In 2026 she will exhibit works in “Generation 2026” in Amos Rex, Helsinki.
