Nils Jumitis ^{Emerging artist}

Nils has graduated the Metal design department at the Art Academy of Latvia, received a Master′s degree. Mostly he work in metal casting techniques, especially in iron casting. He remains faithful to the metal and strive to explore its immeasurable possibilities. In a sherch New aesthetic qualities of cast iron are being sought.

Latvian National Museum of Art in Riga “Lactation”, an exhibition of sculptures by Olga Shilova, Ance Vilnīte and Nils Jumītis. Participation in the international project Tukku Magi, exhibition “Without Fetish” Rume, Latvia Polish contemporary sculpture center exhibition” Anti sculpture park 100 ” in Oronsko, Poland in 2019.
