Monika Gedrimaitė Emerging artist
Artist's country of origin: Lithuania
Monika Gedrimaitė received her BA Degree in Ceramics from the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2014 and MA Degree in Applied Ceramics in 2018. She studied one semester in with Erasmus in Estonian Academy of Arts in 2013. She has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Lithuania, Latvia ja Russia. Her source of creation is a vessel as a connection between an object and a concept. Ceramist is interested in tradition, a material foundation of a vessel and the possibility of new fuctions of it.
