Professional education: Tartu Children’s Art School; Tartu Art School: textile, artistic wood processing, product design; Võrumaa Vocational Education Center: Teppo diatonic accordion construction, heritage tourism, eco-tourism. Has worked as a freelance artist since 1987. Published two books dedicated to handicrafts (1993, 2014). Operates a farmhouse gallery in Räpina Parish.
