Maria Elise Remme (b. 1996) is an artist based in Tallinn, Estonia. Her artistic practice combines installation, ceramics, and printmaking. Remme focuses on the relationship between memory, space, and atmosphere, bringing forward personal experiences and their sensory perception. Ceramics, as a material that holds traces through time, plays a central role in her work. She holds a BA in Media and Advertising Design from Pallas University of Applied Sciences (2019), an MA in Ceramics from the Estonian Academy of Arts (2025), and has furthered her studies in digital media design at L’École de Design Nantes Atlantique in France. She has presented solo exhibitions in Kärdla (2023) and Pärnu (2020), and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Estonia and internationally. Remme took part in the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 main programme, creating interactive sculptures based on Seto folklore together with Katariin Mudist under the title Kolm Pekot.
