Lola Barraud (b. 2001) is a French artist, based in Helsinki. She works with performance, sculpture, installation, and sound art. She is currently pursuing her MFA degree at the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki (2025). Barraud completed her BFA at the TALM-Angers School of Art and Design in France (2022). Barraud’s work examines human relationships: how we connect, rely on, and seek others. She explores aspects of love: its presence, absence, and various definitions. Her art reflects on how the individual’s sense of bodily awareness can be influenced, challenging the boundaries of personal space and the concept of intimacy.
