Liisa Jugapuu ^{Emerging artist}

Liisa Jugapuu (born 1990) obtained her Bachelor´s degree from Estonian Academy of Arts in the field of painting and continues her studies in this field as a Master´s student.

Jugapuu has helped organising exhibitions curated by Vano Allsalu and been a helping hand in organizing the ERKI fashion show. Also, as an intern, she has represented Denes Kalev Farkas’ exhibition “Evident in Advance” at the 2013 Venice Biennale.

Liisa Jugapuus´main field of work is painting, but she is also interested in video art. Her  first personal exhibition “Peaaegu aus” (“Almost Honest”) took place in Spring 2015 at Hobusepea Gallery, Tallinn, and the works from this show were also later which exhibited in Haapsalu Linnagalerii. Her second personal exhibition “Confession Pool” with Helena Keskküla and Pille-Riin Jaik followed shortly, in Summer 2015.
