Laura-Maria Vahimets (1999) holds a BA degree in textile design from Estonian Academy of Arts. She has studied painting and textile art in University of Artistic and Industrial Design Linz Austria and has participated in exhibitions in Vienna and other venues in Austria. In her practice, she focuses on material development and installative artworks, dealing with sociological norms and differences that surround her. In her creation, she values working with natural materials and maintaining presence, finding a meditative state in her process of work.
