Kristīne Daukšte Emerging artist

Kristīne Daukšte holds a Masters of Arts from Art Academy of Latvia, and a BA in stage design from Art Academy of Latvia, she also is a recipient of the Helen Scott Lidgett Award 2021/22 together with ACADEMIA award 2021/22 from Art Academy of Latvia. In 2021 participated in project “Public Encounters”, project organised by Art Academy of Latvia and Central Saint Martins, that finalised with two group exhibitions starting with group show ‘PUBLIC ENCOUNTERS: IESAISTĪŠANĀS’ at Art Station Dubulti (LV) curated by Inga Šteimane and group show ‘PUBLIC ENCOUNTERS: RE-STAGING’ that was presented at Granary square, London (UK). First solo show in LOW gallery (Riga) after residency in “Guild” in LOW gallery (2020). Group show “Hard Drive of Lost Expressions”, AAL experimental gallery Pilot! She was part of the team to create group show “Točka” in contemporary pop – up space “Točka” that gathered more that 80 young artists and was seen by more that 5000 vistiors.
