Kristina Norman (1979) is an interdisciplinary artist whose work encompasses

video installations, sculpture, projects in public space, documentary films, and

performances. She is interested in questions of collective remembering and

forgetting (including in the context of Baltic colonial history), the use of public

space, and spheres of body politics that transcend the boundaries between

public and private. Norman holds an MA from the Estonian Academy of Arts

(2010). She has participated in numerous exhibitions in Estonia and internation-

ally and has represented Estonia twice at the Venice Art Biennale (After-War,

2009; Orchidelirium: An Appetite for Abundance, 2022). From 2020 to 2022

she was a recipient of the state artist’s salary.
