Artist's country of origin: Finland
“I’m a Helsinki based visual artist. I received my BA from Turku Arts Academy in 2014, and I’m currently working on my MFA degree at The Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki in the department of time and space arts. My works have been exhibited in several solo-exhibitions in Finland, as well as in curated group exhibitions in Rovaniemi, Stockholm, Helsinki and Paris. My work has been founded by Arts Promotion Centre Finland, Finnish Art Society and The Finnish Cultural Foundation. This year I received a grant for a graduating MFA student from Anita Snellman Foundation. My latest exhibitions are in gallery Forum Box, Helsinki and the annual MFA degree show of The Academy of Fine Arts, both exhibited in 2021. I’ve also taken part in a group show Unfold at The Finnish Museum of Photography in 2019. In 2017 my work was part of the annual exhibition of Turku Artists Association and I was chosen as the artist of the year by curator Hertta Kiiski and the jury. My next upcoming exhibition is the inaugural exhibition of the new gallery space of Uniarts Helsinki’s Academy of Fine Arts in December 2021.”
