Kadri Toom

Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Kadri Toom (born 1984) has graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts in the field of printmaking (MA, 2009) and Tartu Art College´s department of paintings (2006). She has also studied in the Saimaa University of Applied Science (2005) as an Erasmus student.

The artist is interested in topics related to space, silence, emptiness and momentariness. She mixes various techniques and materials. In addition to connecting painting and printmaking, she uses installative methods in exhibiting her works.
