Ineta Ignatavičiūtė (b. 2002) is a young artist working in the field of textile media. She graduated in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Textile and Fashion from the Vilnius Academy of Arts and continues her master’s studies in Textile Art and Media, exploring the synthesis between archaic textiles and contemporary technologies. In her practice, textile becomes not only a material but also a way of thinking, allowing her to explore layers of tradition, innovation, and personal experience. SCIENTIFIC AND CREATIVE PROJECTS. July–August 2024 – Awarded a grant and conducted an artistic research project titled “Tradition and Innovation: Textile Material in Creative Practice” within the Lithuanian Research Council’s “Student Summer Research Practice” program (supervised by Assoc.
