Inessa Saarits explores the intersection of art and biology in her practice. She is drawn to natural materials that disintegrate over time and she investigates the world around her through the lens of a microscope. Saarits graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with a degree in Installation and Sculpture and has furthered her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She is a member of ENKKL (Estonian Young Contemporary Artists’ Association) and is one of the founding members of the art festival Kunstikompott.
