Kantike graduated the Painting Department of the Art Academy of Latvia, having previously studied at other institutions exploring other fields (languages and art history). During her studies at the Art academy, she participated in several group exhibitions. She interested in exploring concept of identity and time and memory, trying to address these concepts in a light and sometimes ironic way. Also she finds interesting to combine painting and linguistics.
