Ignas Puikis ^{Emerging artist}

Ignas Puikis is a 2025 graduate of the Vilnius Academy of Arts and an incoming master’s student. His artistic journey has been shaped by international experiences and notable exhibitions. During his Erasmus+ studies in Germany, he presented his work at Rundgang (2024) in Stuttgart and at Zimmer Service (2024) in an abandoned hotel in Freudenstadt. This unique exhibition, which also served as an auction to support the hotel’s renovation, resulted in Puikis’ installation being selected for the venue’s permanent collection. Alongside the installation, he showcased sculptures and drawings that reflect his central artistic focus—philosophical explorations of the nature of creation itself. His works are held in multiple private collections, and the culmination of these experiences was presented in the Graduation Show (2025) in Vilnius, marking a significant milestone in his career.
