Hillar Ehaste

Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Hillar Ehaste (born in 1954) is an Estonian artist who began painting at the age of 62, following a long career as a mining engineer. He has participated in numerous exhibitions both in Estonia and internationally, including in Austria, France, and Greece. His work focuses on nature paintings, floral compositions, dance, and abstract art.


Ehaste is a member of artist Robert Suvi’s painting studio, where he hones his skills alongside other adult amateur artists and takes part in group exhibitions. He has been exhibiting his work since 2017, including shows at Suvi Art Studio in Jõgeva, the Omicum Gallery in Tartu, and international exhibitions in Austria, France, and Greece.
