Henri Tuominen ^{Emerging artist}

Artist's country of origin: Finland

Graduated as a visual artist from Turku Academy of Arts in the spring of 2019. In his studies, he mainly focused on painting expression, final work was exhibited in Turku Kunsthalle. After the graduation he held his first solo exhibition in Gallery Aarni, Espoo 2020. Has participated in numerous group exhibitions, for example Nastola’s summer exhibition 2021, curated by gallerist and curator Veikko Halmetoja. The Art Promotion Center has supported his artistic work with four working grants and one targeted grant. In 2022, he was chosen as the artist of the year of the Turku Artist Society, the curator was writer and visual artist Heikki Kännö. I am finishing my painting studies master’s program of the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts, and participated spring 2023 Kuvan Kevät master’s final exhibition
