Gita Strazdina ^{Emerging artist}

Gita Strazdina (born 1991) graduated from the Art Academy of Latvia (M.A.) Department of Graphic Art in 2016, having received her Bachelor’s degree at the Painting Department in 2014. During her years of studying she also gained experience within exchange programs in Venice Academy of Art (2012 – 2013) and Rome Academy of Art (2015–2016). She has been taking part in group exhibitions in Latvia and Lithuania since 2012. In 2014, she participated in the exhibition of Latvian Contemporary Graphic Art “GRAFIKA-S” in Riga Art Space. In 2015, she was a participant in Graphic Art Biennial of the Baltic Sea Countries “Kaliningrad-Königsberg” and also had her first solo exhibition “LETTER” in Art center “NOASS” in Riga.
