Džeina Mieze ^{Emerging artist}

Artist's country of origin: Latvia

Džeina Mieze graduated with a bachelor's degree in glass art from The Art Academy of Latvia in 2024 with excellence.

Previously had studied Bible Art, Fresco painting and Iconography in European Christian Academy. Before that, she started her professional studies in art – as a specialist in sculptural objects at Riga Art and Media School.

Now she wants to continue her studies at The Art Academy of Latvia in masters study program in glass art.

Glass is the main medium used in her work, but she also works with metal, ceramics, human hair and other materials.

She has participated in group exhibitions, the most recent being “Portals” in Jurmala City Museum, Latvia, 2024.

In 2023 summer she gained international exhibition experience and participated in various glass art workshops at the 10th International Glass Art Festival in Luxembourg.

After getting her bachelor's degree – now she hopes to expand her knowledge in different exhibitions and workshops and to meet some more glass artists.

Her works are in private collections in Latvia and Luxembourg.
