Dainora Petrauskaitė

Dainora Petrauskaitė was born in a small village – Žarėnai – Lithuania. Since she can remember, she has always been into ethnic and culture activities and she is still active in this field. In 2019 she finished her bachelor studies in Vilnius Academy of Art, she studied contemporary art and media. She mostly focus’ on cinematography, video-art, but she is also interested in performance art, photography, music, audio-art. Her work themes are social. She talks about human ,,being“, time, existence and relationships between people. In 2015 she had her first personal exhibition ,,Colored fantasies“. Most important group exibition was in 2017 in Klaipėda and Vilnius – ,,Source“. In 2017 her short movie ,,Stairs“ was screened in Media art festival ,,ENTER‘15“. Most important solo performances – 2017 – ,,Friend“, ,,Limit“, 2016 – ,,Words“. Also in 2018 she was participating in Marija‘s Griniuk performance ,,Traces of light“ which was presented in biggest baltic region contemporary art fair ,,Art Vilnius‘18“
