Albin Borg Emerging artist

Albin Borg (b. 2000, Sundsvall, Sweden) is a visual artist based in Umeå, Sweden. He holds a BFA in Fine Arts from Umeå Academy of Fine Arts (2023) and is currently completing his MFA at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm (2025). His practice is rooted in painting but expands into installation and site-responsive approaches, often exploring materiality, perception, and spatial narratives.
Borg has exhibited widely across Sweden in both solo and group contexts. Recent solo presentations include Silver Surfer(Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, 2023), Path of Sawdust (Konstfack, 2025), and To Find Path (Vals Galleri, Umeå, 2025). His work has also been shown in major institutional and collective frameworks such as Västerbotten Museum (Springer runt stjärnor glittret följer mig, 2023), Färgfabriken (Konstfack Spring Exhibition, 2025), and Hjorten Sculpture Park (2025). He has participated in large-scale initiatives including Stockholm Art Week (HOT BOX, Sergels Torg, 2024) and the national project Konst Åt Alla (Örnsköldsvik, 2024).
His practice is also present in online contemporary art platforms such as Eyte (dedicated to showcasing leading Nordic art students) and WWW Contemporary, a curated marketplace for emerging artists. His work is represented in the collections of Umeå Konstförening, Riksföreningen Våra Gårdar, and several private collectors.
Borg has contributed to publications including the group book Springer runt stjärnor glittret följer mig (2023), a collaborative zine produced at Konstfack (Like it shouldn’t maybe be here, 2024), and Konstfack’s Master Travel Guide(2025).
