“This year i graduated the department of environmental art in the academy of latvia, during these studies i spent a lot of time getting to know different kind of materials and their relationship with the conceptualising and creating and artwork. this led me to learn how to create artworks that can be varied in between different mediums, to convey the message. during this time i participated in workshops for process art, as well as a workshop which focused on public space, and multiple contests for design solutions in latvia. during the last year of studies my graduation work was created with the exhibition in mind, which gave a clear understanding of making and artwork fit in a space, so it works with the art, while creating a whole picture, no matter of its dimensions. after graduating i have started my masters studies in the department of printmaking (art academy of latvia) to learn more about traditional printmaking techniques, so to create an interdisciplinary profile of my abilities.”
