Caune has explored various art mediums throughout his educational journey, starting from primary school all the way to the Art Academy. He graduated from primary school with a focus on painting, followed by middle school where he specialized in printmaking. For his Bachelor’s degree, he studied in the Visual Communication department at the Art Academy, but later returned to his roots in painting for his Master’s degree, which felt like the most relatable medium to him.

Throughout his career, he has held two solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows. Additionally, every year he engages in mural painting projects across various cities in Latvia, contributing to public art in significant ways.
