Miglė Ceinorytė Emerging artist

Artist's country of origin: Lithuania

Miglė Ceinorytė (b. 1994) graduated in 2017 form Vilnius Academy of Arts with a Bachelor’s degree in graphics and book art. During her studies she has been working with typography, editorial design, printmaking (focus on silkscreen) and artist’s books. She has been participating in collaborative projects, curated a workshop „Knygrišėnai” in international Vilnius Book Fair and took part in various processes of organising artist’s events („CACA“, „Culture Night 2016“). This experience leads to initiate series of workshops „Kurk Kurk“, in which group of artists introduced bookbinding and printmaking workshops in different Lithuanian festivals and other cultural events. Ceinorytė has been participating in group exhibitions in Lithuania, for example, accompanying exhibition of Kaunas International Printmaking Biennial 2017 “(R)evolution of fragment”. Also, she took a part in international projects, such as “ė” project exposition in Leipzig Book Fair 2017, where she exposed her artist‘s books.
