Malle Laimdota ^{Emerging artist}

Laimdota Steķe has been a student in Art Academy of Latvia since 2009. She has participated in exhibitions in Latvia and abroad. In 2011 Steķe won public voting in “SEB scholarship in painting – talent PAYS OFF” In 2012 she won the main prize and scholarship of this competition. From 2012 – 2013 she did her Erasmus exchange program at University for The Creative Arts at United Kingdom. She also has been assistant of stage designer and director Andrejs Jarovojs. Steķe was an intern at 56. Venice Biennale in Latvian pavilion “ARMPIT”.
