Tiiu Lausmaa ^{Emerging artist}

Tiiu Lausmaa (born 1989) is a Tallinn-Based artist and illustrator. She has graduated the Estonian Art Academy with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in 2018. Her main mediums are painting and drawing. Her topics of interest include human’s relationship with nature and non-human animals, environmental issues and the impact of mass production and information age on the human mind. Her philosophy is largely inspired by Daoist texts that she has read during her earlier studies in Chinese culture. Her latest solo exhibition took place in Staapli 3 Art Gallery in Tallinn in June 2020.
