Kertu-Liisa Sarap (2003) is a Tallinn-based artist whose practice moves between painting and leather art. She graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with a degree in painting in 2025 and is continuing her studies in the Contemporary Art Master’s programme. Sarap’s work explores layers of material memory and nostalgia through painting, leather, and photographic archives.
Sarap has exhibited in both Estonia and Ireland, with recent group shows including Belong (Europa Gallery, Dublin), I lár báire (A4 Sounds), Put on Your Pants (EKA Gallery), and the TASE ’25 graduation exhibition. In 2024, she completed a residency at the Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts in Dublin. Her solo exhibition Mittens took place at ArtDepoo in 2021, and her work is held in private collections in Estonia and Ireland.
