Alise Stefānija Miļuhina ^{Emerging artist}

Alise Miļuhina is a graphic designer based in Riga, Latvia. She graduated from the Design department of the Art Academy of Latvia with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic design. As a result of her studies at the Art Academy of Latvia, she created a book titled “100 Latvian Letters” about type design in Latvia. The book serves as a small insight into Latvian design heritage, presenting a collection of observations made in the search for “Latvianness” in the art of typography. Alise was awarded the Ādolfs Irbīte scholarship for her diploma project. During her studies, Alise experimented extensively with typography and color, and delved deep into the history of Latvian art and design.
