Contact

For the third year in a row, the Tartu Artists’ Union is organizing an exhibition of contemporary art in the gallery of the Valga Museum. This time the project is indirectly inspired by this year’s 100th anniversary of the division of Valga and Valka, and therefore Kaspars Brambergs from Latvia and Siiri Jüris from Estonia have been invited to participate. The title “Contact” stems from the recognition that the recent work of both artists attracts the viewer into physical contact with them, but at the same time there is something repulsive in the works of both.
