The installation reflects a personal and intense experience of sensing one’s (woman’s) body. Long and painful period forced me to paint and analyze the nature of my menstrual cycle. As I created, I began to notice the similarities between a woman’s body and nature — the cyclicality — that exists in both. Birth and death. Ovulation and bleeding. Day and night. Waking up and falling asleep. Spring and winter. Womb-reminding organ-like installation living in the gallery space symbolizes an endless cycle and holds every (female) experience from tenderness to violence. Installation takes part from TASE’ 22 graduation show and Pärnu Art Week 2022 exhibition ”Woman&Woman”.
