Inkeri Virtanen (1998) is a visual artist specialising in painting and textile techniques. Her works focus on the invisible layers of reality and seek to depict hidden currents of energy that shape human experiences using Imagery from myths, physics or esotericism.Craftsmanship and choice of materials play a crucial role in the content of the artworks. By employing meticulous techniques like oil painting and weaving, the subjects and intentions gain clarity, imbuing the image with deeper significance and meaning. Virtanen graduated with a BFA from Gerrit Rietveld academie TXT department in 2022, and has participated in group shows in Helsinki, Brussels and Amsterdam.
